Fred Rymer, who ran The Birds Nest antique store in Russellville, Tennessee, for more than a decade with his wife, Dorothy, has been featured in a national magazine.
The Rymers currently live at The Heritage Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Morristown run by Life Care Centers of America. The company manages more than 200 centers around the country and publishes a handful of residents’ life stories each year in its LEADER magazine. Rymer’s story was recently published in the 2017 edition.
The story talks about Rymer’s experience with the Railway Express Agency, as well as his time as a rodeo clown. It also gives a look into the family man he is and his love of antiquing.
