The line of guests winds a long way back.

The annual Trick or Treat at The Heritage Center in Morristown, Tennessee, is no small affair.

Celebrating its 10th year on Oct. 29, 2019, the event drew 892 community members (adults and children) in addition to the more than 80 residents who participated by handing out candy in the doorways of their rooms. Many residents also dressed up in simple costumes to add to the fun atmosphere, and associates donned Halloween shirts.

“We cannot thank our community, residents and associates enough for making this event a continued success year after year!” said Victoria Bowen, activity director. “We are blessed to be able to give the children a safe place to trick or treat and our residents a fun and cherished memory.”
