Human and canine duo at The Heritage Center win THCA volunteer award

On Aug. 29, 2017, two special volunteers at The Heritage Center in Morristown, Tennessee, received the 2017 Group Volunteer Award during the Tennessee Health Care Association’s awards luncheon in Nashville.

Olivia and Maddie Inman have been volunteering at The Heritage Center for three and a half years. Olivia is a retired special education teacher in Morristown, and Maddie is her 8-year-old Welsh Corgi mix....

The Heritage Center receives Silver National Quality Award

The Heritage Center in Morristown, Tennessee, recently received the 2017 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.

The center was notified of its achievement on July 6. Only 191 Silver awards were given this year nationwide....

The Heritage Center wins Business Development Award of Excellence

The Heritage Center in Morristown, Tennessee, recently won the Business Development Award of Excellence for parent company Life Care Centers of America’s Appalachian Region. 

On Dec. 1, 2015, Life Care’s Eastern Division held a banquet at the company’s headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee, bestowing honors on one skilled nursing and rehab facility per each of its five regions. The awards recognize facilities for innovative programs in serving their communities.

The Heritage Center wins AHCA/NCAL Bronze National Quality Award

The Heritage Center, a skilled nursing and rehab facility in Morristown, recently received the 2015 Bronze National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.

The award highlights facilities across the nation that have proven their intention to pursue a rigorous quality improvement system. It is the first of three tiers of recognition (Bronze, Silver and Gold) by AHCA/NCAL and requires a detailed application process submitted to a board of examiners for review.
